Even if he is in ail for a year, it will FEEL much longer than that for him...I guarantee that!

He will be a changed person when he gets out.

His life will be a living hell every minute he is behind bars, they will destroy him mentally and physically.

His family is probably also going to be effected by his actions, this is just another method they will use to crush him, send people out to 'visit' his family while he is in jail and can do nothing to protect them!

That’s just one case. More in the link. Simply unbelievable how they ruined lives. A few bad apples, eh?

Biscayne Park police chief gets prison for framing black men | Miami Herald
If there are just a few bad apples I must have the worst luck on the planet! From cops in our NJ town that traded sex for letting teenagers off for some pot charges....to an entire Dept. at another place I lived that shook down drug dealers (NATIONWIDE...even tho it was a Village Force...they flew all over the country!) and kept the money....

Oh, nothing ever happened to these guys. Not a day in jail and hardly any ever made to leave the force. In many cases, they have "stuff" on the Mayor and Council (Kompromat, so to speak), so the Bosses aren't going to mess with the cops and have their orgies or dope-using or whatever exposed.

I am not saying all Police are evil. But there is often no accountability and the existence of tens of thousands of these little "Kingdoms of People With Guns and License to Use Them" isn't working perfectly. A good cop often cannot do anything about the others and the dept.

Departments and individuals fall on a curve - from the worst scum to angels. However, the amount that fit each category is quite large.
