Shouldn't it be a "HE" and not a She? Does "She" have a vagina and a uterus? is "She" capable of carrying children? Does "She" have ovaries and other parts that Women generally have that make them a women? Does this so called "Girl" experience menstrual cramps and have Periods every 28 days?
If none of those then it a teenage Boy and "HE" should be using the Boys/Men Bathroom then
They need to do away with "Boys/Men's" and "Girls, Women's" bathrooms and rename them "Penis" and "Vagina" rooms. That way, no matter how you identify, you use the corresponding room for how you are physically equipped.
He was sitting on the toilet for over 40 minutes recording the entire time according to his sister.
I only watched part of the one-minute video in the restroom and also less than one minute of the above -- I find rants combined with poor quality videos annoying and will only watch them if I have some very good reason for doing so -- so I am taking Shadowne's word for it that the teen was sitting on the toilet for 40 minutes. IF that WAS the case, I think the school administrators had every right to break in -- how do they know the student wasn't doing some kind of actual self-harm, such as doing drugs or serious drugs.
But whatever the reason, it is very obvious to me that the student was just looking for a fight -- as others said, imo, the teen didn't sound nearly as scared or angry or upset as some kind of attention-seeking narcissist. Leaving sexuality and gender out of it, I think this student has some serious mental health issues, anyway, and receives help.
Finally, I can't help but think that incidents like this hurt the crusade for transgender rights instead of helping it. (I also think that it is interesting that the sister referred to the teen using masculine terms and said that pronouns don't matter.)

I don't agree with the LGBT life style, but this bathroom incident undermines the real issues the LGBT people face. If I saw someone get beat up because of such a lifestyle, I would step in and help them.
They couldn't wait until the individual came out?
Agree or disagree with the person's life choices, what those teachers did was way over the top and wrong. Wait for the individual to exit the commode and confront. No harm no foul.
I dont think the school smile on letting students take 40 minute bathroom breaks if he was in there that long as someone stated.
Heck back in the day they didnt even have doors on the bathroom stalls. And teachers busted in there all the time to catch students smoking or fighting, etc.
He locked himself in the bathroom for an extended period of time. He also refused to use his private bathroom, which is stupid, who wouldn't want a private bathroom.
If a valid harassment case was to be filed, it would be against him. Refusing to use a private bathroom available to you and going to the lady's room even after it was expressed women are uncomfortable with him being there is a recipe for disaster.
