Hmmm could the ORANGE-AID be wearing off some of the Morons(?) on the Hill?[/QUOTE]
Thank you for this respectful, stereotype-heavy "comment"
I'm Libertarian rather than Republican, and have identified and registered as such for at least thirty years. I see no sense in Trump's border wall and tinkering with tariffs; But it is obvious that the peddlers of influence, graft and "identity politics" over there in the Democratic camp have no interest in reducing the potential for abuse of over-centralized power -- only in harnessing that undeserved power for their own agenda.
Until and unless the Republican party returns to its roots, I will continue to view Trump as the lesser of three evils; and it shouldn't be hard to discern the Democrats as the largest, by far, of the three.
Trump, ever confident of his ability to bend story lines to his will, mocks the investigations into his conduct as candidate and president as a "witch hunt" and insists he will survive the threats.
But a shift began to unfold over the weekend after prosecutors in New York for the first time linked Trump to a federal crime of illegal hush payments. That left some of his associates fearful that his customary bravado is unwarranted. For some Republicans, the implication that the president may have directed a campaign finance violation, which would be a felony, could foreshadow a true turning point in the Republican relationship with him when special counsel Robert Mueller releases his report on the Russia investigation. Republicans beginning to worry about Trump re-election

Eventually Republicans are going to realize that an impeachment might be the only way they are going to win in 2020; Pence might have some shot at it. But the Democrats are not going to hand them that, they are are going to let Trump continue to rip the Republican Party apart for another 2 years. Far better to keep talking about an impeachment than actually ousting him. Trump is so predictable under pressure, it's a sure way to keep him in flip-out mode, where he can do the most damage to his own chances for re-election.
It does not take any kind of deep thinker to know Trump will have to fight like crazy to get re elected. The Mueller investigation and your TDS have very little to do with that and more to do with the establishment from both parties want Trump out. Kasich was running with or with out the Mueller investigation and of course could benefit from it's findings and there will be others making a primary challenge.
Consider Trump won 3 states with very narrow margins would be another party concern and just like the last election both parties will be doing all they can to stop Trump.
And he will. He knows the alternative to reelection is an orange jumpsuit.

Just like he did all through the Republican primaries. Just ripped the party apart so bad that they won the President, Senate, and House.
But we do and we'll be showing your orange messiah the exit door come 2020.
Didn't you say he would be gone by now?
