If this really happened, then yes it's obstruction of justice. Far more fitting the intent of obstruction of justice laws than Trump's tweets. But of course, don't expect the opposition to care. Their goal was never justice but to bring down the Trump administration.

The WH is doing a great job working for the American citizens.
The turmoil is in congress with the low approval ratings and their 150 day work schedule. Maybe if it was a full time job they could get their work done on time. They might be able to read the legislation before they pass it.

The Mueller witch hunt is producing the chaos democrats thrive on and there is no end to the lies they keep telling about it. Mueller should release his "I Hate Trump Report" and Mueller should admit his conflict of interest and answer for his destruction of evidence.

This story might not be true, but it is shocking that you brush off turmoil in the country such as serious corruption in Mueller's probe so long as they get Trump. We are just a few short steps away from a Banana Republic.

The result of these steps was the recovery of thousands of text messages within the period of the missing text messages, December 15, 2016 through May 17 , 2017, as well as hundreds of other text messages outside the gap lime period that had not been produced by the FBI due to technical problems with its text message collection tool."

No chance of anything happening to Trump, because you need 67 votes in the Senate.
Mueller whereas can be terminated and charged in the blink of an eye.

Did Nixon get nixed with 67 votes from the Senate? Nope. Sometimes the writing on the wall is enough. Especially when it is treason.

As more crimes are revealed, more GOP senators are going to unhitch themselves from the Hate Yam and put some distance in the middle. They are too terrified of voters to remain loyal when the ship is shown to be sinking.

Right after that will come all the interviews where they wii state they were never in favor of anythhing Trump wanted to do.

If Mueller was fired at this point, it would only accelerate what is coming.

Absolutely. And in the meantime the country is dissolving before our very eyes with no executive leadership for the past 2 years. And no interest in changing this abysmal state of affairs. Trump and his congressional protectors have 1 agenda only, keep themselves in power. Not that they have any plans to make a positive difference in the country or world. Disgusting!

Deleting or wiping data is a normal security protocol for any electronic device that holds sensitive data, if they are issuing the phone to another agent not doing so would be a breach of security. What you would call into question about something like this is the timing or whether it should have been wiped and reissued at all. I don't know the timeline so I won't comment other than to say if this phone was central to an ongoing investigation that would be very questionable.
