I wouldn’t call someone saying all black people are good at basketball or white people can swim or Asians are dominant at ping pong as racist/ Anti any race. I think this is more part of the backlash from him previously mentioning the NFL players are slave comment rather than anew controversy.
Please. If a white person said (in the Current Year) that some random black person would be good at basketball or some random Asian person should be good at ping pong, the left and the media would be having a fit of outrage. This is where we are now, and the street is one way. Saying that Jews are good with money has anti-Semitic overtones, and has had so for centuries. Lebron and the rappa' he quoted likely don't know that, and should maybe get a pass. A white guy though saying the same things would not.

Make them live up to their own rules.

A white guy in this same context 100% would get a pass.

His comment wasnt negative at all, nor is assuming a black person is good at basketball or a white person at swimming or an asian person at ping pong.

Those things only become negative when you purposefully make them negative, " all black people are good for is playing basketball" for example.

Are you kidding me?? A white guy would be raked over the coals, at least.

In the Current Year a white guy even making a complimentary comment about a stereotype (however flattering) of a "person of color" would be crucified in the media, mainstream and social. Whites can say the most innocuous thing and it would be taken as offensive. There's even a term for it: microaggressions.

This street only goes one way.

His comments weren’t anti Semitic, and no one cares about what he said except people that are in constant pursuit of any Achilles Heel they can find on him.

This was a one day story. The sports media is already over it. Max Kellerman broke this down best. Lebron apologized for it and explained himself.

Who is allowed to cry about social injustice? Tell us.

Yes, and Joy Reid apologized for her "homophobic" remarks. But if anyone else had said same.......

Rosanne apologized too; see what good that did.

There an enormous amount of anti-Semitism among Black-Americans. They generally aren't into Jews, too much. There is also an enormous amount of dislike of LGBT people among Black-Americans. They're definitely not into gays. If you follow the news, you will see anti-Jew violence in places like Crown Heights quite often. Attacks on Jews because they're Jews. And as far as gays, show me a major city and you will see a lot of violence by young black men directed at gays because they are gays. These facts used to acknowledged from within the community much more but in the current atmosphere, it interferes with the fairy tale that black folks can't be racist/homophobic/anti-Semitic because "they lack power" and, after all, it's only when prejudice is combined with power that you can be racist/xenophobic/homophobic/anti-Semitic.

He's a self absorbed douche who wants to be idolized. And some fools do idolize him making him think what he says has reason to be taken seriously.

I agree with this, because look what happened to Kevin Hart.

This is very true. Also black Americans in academia follow intersectionality in which certain marginalized groups power structure differ or overlaps. Jews make up 2 percent of the US population, but control a great deal of wealth. Also as a super power and great power, the US has never oppressed jews. Blacks on the other hand have been historically oppressed, and thus jews are part of the oppressor class in America. But when you look at the history of oppression. Jews have 3000 years of oppression vs 400 years of oppression of the black American.
