And while I've never carried a firearm, there have been occasions where I was very tempted to. Driving across the state alone, some of it in very isolated areas . If I walk along some park trails alone I'm probably more on edge than walking downtown in a very crime ridden city.
Not much time was spent and not much money. They have your background check, take your photo and you're good for five years. Our county sheriff was very vocal in his support of CCW and you see who else wants them. The elderly, women, people of different races, some wealthy, some not.
