Dems need to be careful here. I'd like to see Trump be removed from office as much as the next honest American, but they need to take it slow and get it right.
Also, Democrats have to remember, IF Trump is still in office come 2020, he's probably going to lose the election. So if Dems want to go through with this, they'd better make sure they can get Pence out, too. Because you don't want Pence to be president for very long, he'd be a lot worse than Trump. Pence is a REAL ultra-right conservative, not pretending to be a conservative like Trump is doing.
If an impeachment process or indictments would be dragged out for more than a year (which they probably would), it might not be worth it. Just let Trump continue to embarrass himself and us, along with the looming recession that is coming probably late 2019, and let Trump just get his butt kicked in November 2020 than impeach him.
I agree that the Dems shouldn't rush in to do anything right away. They don't want to look like they're on the attack.
Based on your posting history, you aren't going to vote Democrat no matter what anyway.
No, I will not vote for a corporate (D). I voted for Sanders. You can argue he wasn't actually a (D) but I posted earlier promoting Tulsi Gabbard. I hope I get a chance to vote for her.

While I agree with Pelosi's non-committal approach, you are clearly not the DNC's target audience.
But I am. That people like myself did not vote for Hillary is why she lost. The (D)'s need people like me to win.
I agree and as noted earlier in this thread, IMO it will only help Trump's re-election. To do it simply because people are still mad that Hillary lost will only IMO lead to more losses.
Impeach Trump in the House. It's not going to force me to vote for the (D) candidate no matter what. IMO the (D)'s should spend every minute trying to do things that will help regular people in places like Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania.
When the House Republicans impeached Clinton they did not have any recent hindsight that an overreach like that could come back and bite them in a**. They learned the hard way. The House Democrats of today know full well any overreach on impeachment would be counter-productive, although it may feel good in the moment. They are going to wait for Mueller's report, if that report shows beyond a reasonable doubt Trump acted in conspiracy with a Russian Military Intelligence operation targeting the 2016 Federal Election....game over. Mitt Romney will lobby the appropriate GOP Senators and Trump will resign or be impeached...why??...because that would be indefensible. Will that happen?....dont know and neither does anybody else. If they only find campaign finance violations my thinking is that they would formally Censure the President...and would probably get several GOP members to go along.
Nancy Pelosi doesn't know what the day of the week is or the year for that matter. So there's that.
Right.. Commissar Pelousy is so scatterbrained, I would not be surprised if she put forth impeachment papers for Bush, since that ditz keeps referring to him constantly as the current POTUS.

You know that's not gonna happen. Geez, with the drama.
Obviously Trump is not feeding the war machine that controls these Democrats so they will keep harassing Trump.
That’s what it’s all about, his lack of starting new combat operations.
