I you had watched the Pelosi Townhall, you could have heard her give their plans, which priorities include bipartisan support.
First - open the government;
Second - lower drug prescription prices; and
Third - Infrastructure
Trump can sit in his cave, sulk and watch tv for the next 6 months. If McConnell grows a pair or gets enough heat from his voters (his polls are in the 30s), the Senate will work with the House. With all due respect to the OP, the poll appears to be a list comprised of right-wing propaganda talking points and is highly inaccurate.
Yep, and do what they are paid to do and also in the best interests of Americans. I know that is a hard concept for people who support a tweeting/golfing/lazier than s*** real estate salesman, but these new Democrats are going to dig in and reshape the party.
What they will try to do is not very important because Republicans control the Senate, and we have a Republican President, and now a more Conservative Supreme Court.
I think a better question is what do you think they might actually accomplish? That's where they should focus their efforts.
I'd like to see the Democrat party find areas of compromise so they can get something done over the next 2 years. Gridlock is not going to win them votes 2 years from now from Independents and moderates who they need to win the next election cycle.
I think that the Democrat party has lerched too far left. The negative and attacking rhetoric is not helping their image.
They need to come up with new ideas to base a platform around. Improving legal immigration could be a winner for them.
Improving healthcare affordability and healthcare insurance affordability could also improve their image.
