A most interesting article, which the image below does a good job of summarizing. By almost any metric that matters, the thing that has been the psyche of Americans that the "American Dream" was something to aspire to and one that was never ending, it is clear that things have changed.

The erosion has occurred over time, but it seems like in the last 20 years, it has declined in reality of being achieved.
Too bad Canada is a frozen tundra in the winter. I would not live there for free.

No, they wouldn't be fine. They'd still be a frozen wasteland that not even the Mexicans want.

I personally like Canada, and Canadians for the most part. Spent some time in Manitoba province, and Ontario city myself.

That said, other than education perhaps, your stats in the image are close enough to nearly become meaningless. And that is spread between two vastly different population sizes and densities.

All in all...seems about the same.

What good is GDP if it goes into the pockets of just a very few? No good.

We told you what would happen with mass illegal immigration...we have reaped what we've sown.

Btw, the current unemployment rate for the US is 4.6%, for Canada it is 5.6%.

https://data.oecd.org/unemp/unemployment-rate.htm

And that's with roughly 10 times the population.
America routinely positions itself as superior to the rest of the world, which is a large part of why so many hate us.

The weather in much of Canada is fine. Where I live in central New England it's just as cold if not colder than the more populous regions of Canada.
