No, just no. The banks aren't failing because they're currently making bad decisions, the banks are failing because investors are making runs on them and regular folks are pulling their money out of their investments and bank accounts. This causes the banks to lose their primary sources of capital, meaning they can no longer function financial institutions and ultimately causing them to fail. Nationalizing them would not solve this problem.
