House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) during a speech at the Conference of Mayors on Wednesday night told Republicans in attendance to "take back your party."
"To the Republicans in the crowd, I say: take back your party, the Grand Old Party," Pelosi said at the annual gathering of U.S. mayors.

That "I know you are, but what am I?" mentality is what got us here today. She is being very upfront, and telling them she respects their right to exist and be a factor, but they need to take a close look at how that once great party has been destroyed by one man in the past two years.
The blue dog democrats, that haven't left the party, are starting to raise their voice. Pelosi has her own problems controlling her party, yet she focuses on what is outside her control. Like a true canned politician of old she leads with smoke & mirror's and don't look over here.
Paying workers is not a Pelosi or democrat priority.

Here’s the issue, every time the dems try to enact consumer protection, bank regulation, clean air and clean water, workplace safety, and other middle class benefits, righties scream about the evil gubmint and muh freedoms.
Translation: I like the old GOP that was wimpy and rolled over easily under pressure. Take back your party so that we can easily have our way with you again like the old days.
