What are your most unpopular/controversial opinions or ideas, especially when it comes to politics?

I'll start...

Assisted euthanasia should be legal for anyone who wants it, no questions asked.

Declawing cats and debarking dogs should be illegal unless for a damn good reason. Your furniture is not a damn good reason.

Unless it's a true life or death urgent situation or someone is too debilitated (physically or suffering) to go back and retrieve their ID, ER should not provide care to those who cannot prove their legal residence status.

Your turn

I agree with all of this. I have dogs and cats. Declawing is never an option and I have never heard of debarking. My wife does get caps put on their nails every once in a while which are completely harmless.

There should be no license requirements for any profession including doctors and lawyers.

The UK's National Health Service should start to penalise some users - anyone who self-discharges before the end of their treatment should be charged the cost of said treatment, and people who don't pay into the system shouldn't have access to the full range of NHS services.

Legalize ALL drugs. People will get them if they want them, and the war on drugs is just a big government, law enforcement scam.

Gun laws. We already have 22,000 on the books. Criminals don't follow them. Eliminate them as they are unconstitutional. Enforce laws on the ACTIONS OF PEOPLE, not the tool used.

Get government out of all marriages, both hetero, and gay. Marriage is between two people, government should have NO say.

Abolish all Affirmative Action. Unconstitutional.

Give the President the line item veto. Make Federal balanced budget LAW, and without creative accounting. Make government live within its means.

Any Fed tax increase would require a Constitutional Convention, and Amendment. Tax reductions would not.

Caps are an excellent alternative, and the colored ones look hilarious!
