I was never a fan of the GOP and their alliance with religious fundamentalists. Now the Democrats are embracing their own sort of religious fanaticism.
This liberal has had enough. Not saying I'll vote for the likes of Trump... but if the Democrats want my vote, they're gonna have to demonstrate that this eeeeeeebil cis-gendered, straight, neurotypical, middleclass, formerly workingclass, non-handicapped, non-guilt-ridden, white, male has some reason to vote for them.
Because they're doing everything they can to signal that I'm not welcome in their little intersectionality-club.
Now I'm not suggesting that all these classes of racial/sexual/etc Special Snowflake Victims don't have legitimate gripes. I'm not suggesting that they have no right to complain. But I *am* saying that I don't have to ally with them on election day if I bygod don't want to.
Respect MY rights and concerns. Or lose my vote.
I have to ask: would you have voted for Trump or Hillary with all those labels you ID yourself with?

She's a woman, and nothing can change that. She was born a girl who became a woman (although, sometimes, not acting like one), and she will die a woman.
That Cortez chick has apparently forgotten about the first two people God had ever created, Adam and Eve. Nothing can change that. All of us were made a certain way.
Y'all need to study up on Socialism -- truly study. These quacks like Cortez need to get a clue. Bernie is another quack, but not half as bad as Kamella and Cortez. The ladies dressed in white have no idea who and what they are 'following'.

When women that are pi**ed and talk loud to get their point across, and can go off the deep end. I tend to listen less.
Speaking on The Intercept podcast this week, Ocasio-Cortez talked in depth about all kinds of privilege in the United States, from white privilege to gender privilege. First, she asserted that woke white people need to go beyond simply acknowledging the racism that pervades all of American society.
"Acknowledging racism is a really big step. It’s a really big step from where we were ... It’s nowhere near enough and the solutions are so painful," she said.
"We can all, almost every single person in this country can acknowledge some privilege of some of some type, you know," she said.
I wonder if she is even aware of how similar her rhetoric sounds to that of Stalin and Mao promoting the concept of "self-criticism" for Communist Party members?
Speaking as a trans person, this really isn't helpful. I'm glad we have allies, I'm glad non trans people care. Y'all rock the most. But this isn't helping the vast majority of people who have no idea what cisgender even means. My friend Kristen's hubs is fighting bladder cancer. They can't get insurance, rather they can't afford it but make too much for Medicaid. As much as they love and support me and other trans people, their privilege is the last thing on their minds right now. I'm sure that's true for most of us. I've got friends at church who don't know what terms to use, and they are afraid of saying the wrong thing and offending me, and that kills me. I hate that it seems that SJWs flip out over the slightest thing, that tends to scare off people who are legitimately trying, but don't know the "right words."
