Control them they can't, influence them with their actions and policies most definitely.

I would be surprised if he knew how to pump his own gas.

How low are gas prices in your area?
What has he done to bring about these low gas prices>?

Now that is humorous, you have contradicted yourself in this thread. If the only thing you can come up with is a childish attempt at insulting me I guess we can leave it at that.

For example he has opened up more federal lands for leasing, putting a value on that is difficult at best. The bottom line is Trump's policies are pro fossil fuel energy, if you want to argue otherwise go right ahead. Those policies will help keep the supply up and prices low.

It makes for a funny read after this thread.

Also there is a link in post #14 to the 2014 thread that touched on this topic.

Thanks Trump ! Higher gas prices !

*grabs another handful of popcorn*

...and how much you want to bet most of them were scoffing at "drill baby, drill".

Your local gas price is going to be dictated by taxes and other factors like shipping. If there is no nearby local terminal or it cant handle the demand then a lot of product maybe shipped by other means like truck long distances. When I was out west in my 20's it was $4.50 a gallon outside of Death Valley, normal price was less than $2.
