NAPLES, Fla. (AP) — Sportscaster Warner Wolf is facing a felony charge after police say he damaged a sign outside his Florida community because it included the word “Plantation,” which he considers racist.

Collier County records show the 81-year-old Wolf surrendered Thursday on a felony criminal mischief charge and was released.

The sheriff’s office says Wolf long complained about his community’s name, Classics Plantation Estates.

Any other ordinary, innocuous things we can deem "racist?"

If he took issue with the name why did he move there? He’s obviously a special kind of stupid.

I'd imagine the first thing his family will do is have him tested for dementia or other age related affliction.

Throw in a steady stream of news 24-7 turning everything into a giant crisis and voila....we see a lot of that posted to this forum.

Maybe a possibility is dementia setting-in?

This just sound like something a screeeechy Millennial-Hipster would do, not an older man.

That's a felony? Wow, I had a few felonies in my basement when I was a teen. Some signs are just too irresistible.

Old people can just claim dementia when they do dumb things.

Meh just keep putting the sign back and charging him for it.

Eventually you will bankrupt him.
