Despite your penchant for insults, all he has to do is testify. Then no need for a subpoena.
He's the one who makes that call.
The guy is stalling.
Whitaker is another Trump style bully/coward. He won't voluntarily answer questions before Congress. He'll have to be dragged in there kicking and screaming. And that's fine by me.

If you want to see some acting watch Nadler act like he is all powerful and can force Whitaker's appearance.
We might even get to see the pouty face all puckered up. Once he is told to pound sand.
To force Whitaker's appearance, Nadler will have to call Whitaker (who supervises the FBI) and request that he direct the FBI to take himself into custody and force him to appear before Congress.
Anybody want to make a bet on that happening? LOL.
This whole administration is chaos day in and day out.
Democrats are earning their midterm votes. They are doing what voters elected them to do. Finally! Most of the country is rejoicing that Democrats are doing what the GOP failed to do for 2 years. Oversight on this corrupt administration.
They want to know if Whitter discussed the investigation with Individual 1 and/or his attorney especially while he was acting AG and why he didn't recuse himself from the Mueller investigation.
Whitter will testify tomorrow but he will grandstand and/or lie like the rest of this administration. We shouldn't be surprised how it turns out but at least Mueller will have him on record and under oath.
Nadler: "Here's your subpoena, Mr. Attorney General."
Whitaker: "Bite me, fat boy."
It is to laugh.
