Exactly.

I'll believe that 71% of those who ALREADY HAVE health insurance and like it, suddenly want universal health insurance....when I see THAT poll.

Those who want others to foot the bill will always want more of the same.

What a joke.

just to clarify he said medicare would be eliminated under a true singlepayer

MfA is NOT singlepayer (singlepayer means one single entity and ONLY one single entity pays 100% of the particular bill (meaning no copays..if there is a copay then it is not singlepayer its dual payer)) (MfA is an 80/20 insurance)
Six of one, half dozen of another. The same thing with a different name is still the same thing.

actually yes we do have an idea what it would cover..we have a program called medicare..if we EXPAND it to MfA, it would still be the same program, just covering all... still the same denials of service, still the same no MRI till you have had 20 xrays, still not covering nursing homes, which is trillions in costs for loved ones

This is addressed over and over and over and over but you aren't about to let that stop you.

We pay anyway. It's cheaper for someone to go to a clinic when they first have an issue than to hope it goes away and then go to the E.R when it doesn't.

We have no idea what a new program would cover until we develop a new program.

no its not

singlepayer means one single entity (the government) (through taxes received) pays ..only one

current medicare and MfA is a 80/20 insurance with copays, with deductibles, and with you HAVING TO BUY a supplemental insurance... it is multipayer… it will NOT eliminate private insurance

there is no way to spin this as 6&6

We have no idea what a new program would consist of as we do not have it.

People with it are pretty happy with it. Was that not the earlier argument? That those people aren't going to want to give up what they have?

PK, we are going around in circles here...usually you are level headed

how can you say with a straight face that "We have no idea what a new program would consist of as we do not have it", when MFA is NOT new, its just medicare expanded.... even Bernie said so himself
