Some people in the media, like Brit Hume, are excusing him saying trump is not a student of American history. But trump has many times cited Andrew Jackson as his favorite president and has his portrait in the OO. And trump jr. applauded the tweet, calling it "savage".

Yes, because Trump is noted for his knowledge of 19th century American history vis a vis the native population. Jeez.

Trump is a stooge.

It isn't 100% certain he is referencing the trail of tears there...but he comes off as an oaf and a bully.

As I said, it isn't 100% clear that he is referencing the trail of tears.

Per your own link:

He also added, "See you on the campaign TRAIL, Liz." It's unclear why he capitalized "trail," though internet speculation immediately centered on the "Trail of Tears."

I am just being honest. It isn't 100% clear that he was referencing the trail of tears. It is speculation.

With that said, he comes off as a bully and did say she should have announced her candidacy from Wounded Knee...insensitive sure, but it is also insensitive of Mrs. Warren to mislead about her ancestry and claim she has high cheekbones like all Natives have.

No worries. In a century or two some politician will mock all the babies killed by Trump and Obama via drone strikes.

It evens out in the end. Keep chuggin' along folks.
