Isn't she one of the Illuminati/liberal princesses? Odd choice for her to design these shoes knowing that some will find them offensive. But is fun to watch the Democrats "eat their own."
Let's get this straight across the board. No black/dark colored faces with big red lips, on anything. I don't know why they don't learn. It harkens back to minstrel shows and it is not acceptable anymore. I can't imagine as a company anyone approving that unless they were actually seeking this type of attention.

That it might be a representation of her face didn't really occur to me.
As to whether or not it's blackface, I question that. I got the impression that the shoes were available in two colors, and the shape and shade of the lips were the same on both. Lots of women wear red lipstick.
I think they're ugly, honestly, and I wouldn't buy them, but I'm not convinced that they were intended to mock anyone.
Everything is a crisis on the left. If you can't locate a crisis.......they make one up. What's next......pull all black cars off the roads, tell crows not to land anywhere, boycott night.........because it's dark.........."what you talkin' bout willis"?

Having young daughters, I had to endure not 1, but 2, Katy Perry concerts. I only say that about her face because it seems she puts her face on everything, so whether it is or isn’t is just a guess. But the shoes come in 9 different colors according to a statement I just read from the company.

They were released in 9 colors last summer, according to Katy Perry Collections account director Brittany Clarke, and were "envisioned as a nod to modern art and surrealism."
I voted, yes their offensive and they should be banned. But that's mostly because they're trying to call an elementary school project footwear which is offensive to me.
BTW, more seriously though, it isn't really for people who don't find these shoes offensive to tell people that they aren't offensive, getting offended is a feeling, and thus people will an have been getting offended by the silliest things since he beginning of time.
