“Epstein used paid employees to find and bring minor girls to him.,’’ wrote Marra, who is based in Palm Beach County. “Epstein worked in concert with others to obtain minors not only for his own sexual gratification, but also for the sexual gratification of others.’’

Instead of prosecuting Epstein under federal sex trafficking laws, Acosta, then the U.S. attorney in Miami, helped negotiate a non-prosecution agreement that gave Epstein and his co-conspirators immunity from federal prosecution. Epstein, who lived in a Palm Beach mansion, was allowed to quietly plead guilty in state court to two prostitution charges and served just 13 months in the county jail. His accomplices, some of whom have never been identified, were never charged.

Acosta is of course the current Secretary of Labor under Donald Trump.

Maybe they'll get started on that swamp draining right after the next infrastructure week

The Miami Herald is really getting to the bottom of this. I wish them luck...but for some reason, I don't think they will succeed.

Again with the immunity agreements. The misuse of these for elitist criminals is a profoundly dangerous corruption of our legal system. And we are seeing again and again, including those provided to Hillary Clinton's little cabal.

Trump, Clinton, Dershowitz, et al. thought that this story was buried but it's coming back to haunt them. They partied with Epstein and his underage sex slaves while one of them - Trump - now wants to seal the border to stop "drugs and sex trafficking." Would like to see all of them locked up but the good ole boy network is alive and well. Congratulations, secretary of labor Acosta, for your part in the abuse of these young girls. You earned your promotion.

One problem with these immunity agreements is top lawyers can find loopholes for such acts.

Acosta willingly broke Federal law. Wonder what the ramifications would be if he were to be prosecuted and convicted of a Federal crime.

I expect Acosta to tender his resignation tomorrow. Sadly, that will never happen because Epstein and Trump are very close friends.

How did you manage to bring Hillary Clinton into this? One of Trump's cabinet members should be resigning over his involvement in this sordid mess. He's another one of Trump's "very best people".
