even feinstein knows what a pile of malarkey this is.
Quote:
In the two-minute, 19-second video posted by Sunrise, which appears to have been edited in several places, one of the children tells Feinstein, “Some scientists have said that we have 12 years to turn this (the effects of climate change) around.”
“Well, it’s not going to get turned around in 10 years,” Feinstein replies.

This is so juicy in so many ways.
She kind of wrong, kind of right, kind of old, and they are kind of young, but telling them to basically sit down and shut up isn't the best public relations.
Also an excellent example how kids are indoctrinated.
They're kids and didn't come up with this crap on their own.
After the group sought her support for the Green New Deal, the 85-year-old senior senator from California let them know she wasn't about to be bossed around by a bunch of youngsters.

Reason: ADD WORD
What an angry stupid woman. These are the children of her supporters and she pimp slapped them down and crapped on their youthful idealism.
Then again, democrats aren’t known for decorum or good taste.
It is unfortunate that so much hyperbole is used debating this issue. It's not even needed because the majority will agree with the bottom line. Cleaning up the messes we leave.
It's also unfortunate because when you use hyperbole even those who agree with the bottom line don't trust that is the true nature of the discussion.
How disappointing. I hoped to actually learn something watching that, both about the Green New Deal and the Senator's own position. Instead, I got to a bunch of people refusing to listen to each other and being generally disrespectful. It would have been nice to see the kids asking about her resolution, and also nice to see her encouraging the kids' interest in government.

We don't leave messes? You consider that hyperbole? If so, that is sad. We most certainly do.
