Now the Democrats want to investigate Trump because he said mean things to the media, the courts, the DOJ and the FBI. Get the snowflakes a reservation in a safe space if they're complaining. First of all, the DOJ and FBI are part of the Executive branch. Do you run and whine for an investigation when a boss calls you a mean name?
Secondly, will you raise your hand here if you've never said anything mean about anyone in the media?
Lastly, raise your hand again if you've never complained about any court decision or Supreme Court Justice. For cryin' out loud, did the Democrats led by Dianne Feinstein, forget what they tried to do to Kavanaugh, already? It was a lot worse than calling him a big poopyhead.

"House Democrats are opening an investigation into what they say are abuses of power by President Donald Trump through his attacks on the courts, the Justice Department, the FBI and the media, according to a House official familiar with the plans."
Can't wait to see who is going to cry at a Congressional hearing because their feelings were hurt because the President said mean things about them. I'm betting NO ONE. This is what happens when you elect lawyers. They still want to be lawyers doing lawyerly things.
They have to keep to controversies rolling... otherwise things would be quiet and people would realize the life in general is OK under Trump.
Plus it uses up Trump's resources to have to deal with them... kinda like a slightly crazy relative that lives with you. There's always a portion of mental energy that it takes to deal with them that takes away from optimal focus to do his job.
You sound surprised -- where have you been the last few years.
There has been many discussions, questions raised about Trump's bullying tweets - in particular with those involved in the various investigations. Seems there is a fine line between 'free speech' and using the office of the President to influence an investigation.
This isn't 'news'.
And if Trump is having trouble focusing -- that's on him.
If Trump was truly a man of integrity and knew his actions were above reproach he would easily be able to ignore the noise and focus on the issues.
But Trump's ego is fragile...he's that socially awkward guy that has been fighting to be 'in' and accepted and liked and popular and so it is less about the issues and more about what the folks think about him.

That is so true. the Dems need to pander to the anti Trump audience that they and their media has created. Trump is good for ratings and good for campaign donations as long as the discussion is against him. They couldn't possibly say something positive or they would lose voters.
Trump does have a fragile ego but he is human and I'm sure that he wants people to like him. It has to really upset him that people hate him so much.
We can all see that the Democrats their media and talk shows, Hollywood, the FBI, the DOJ and so many more do not like Trump but it goes beyond a dislike into actual action of trying to undermine him.
The negativity is only going to be ramped up as we get closer to the 2020 election and I don't know what is going to happen on the Left if Trump should win again.

First of all, you or I saying 'mean' things about the media is NOT the same thing as POTUS saying 'mean' things. Besides, this is not about saying 'mean' things, ok? From the article you linked and most likely did not read:
"...The official said there are questions about whether Trump, through some of his actions, is going too far and undermining the rule of law, a reference to established and defined limits on the arbitrary exercise of power..." Also, "...Trump’s attacks on the news media, singling them out for abuse and ridicule, potentially threatens freedom of the press, and also could serve to intimidate other journalists, the official said. The president regularly denounces "fake news" as “the enemy of the people” in tweets and at campaign-style rallies..."
NOW, this is something to screech out loud, "Oh, for cryin' out loud." Trump Says 'Saturday Night' Should Be 'Tested In Court' Over 'Wonderful Life' Parody. This is someone that needs a safe space and is also using his executive power to try and silence a comedy show that makes him feel bad. Another example of abusing power. https://www.forbes.com/sites/legalen.../#7c5abf0451c0
