The reactions of many on the left to the case of Jussie Smollett prove two important things:
There is little racism in America.
The Left — white and black — is morally and psychologically impaired.
There is no doubt that most Americans on the left, including black Americans, are distraught over the fact that Smollett faked the “racist” attack on him. Apparently leftists, Democratic leaders, and, most depressingly, many of his fellow blacks wish Smollett had been attacked by white racist homophobes....

No, we wish he hadn't lied. Anyone with the slightest hint of intellectual honesty would know that. Fabricating an attack makes it harder for the true victims of racist and homophobic violence to come forward.
Sad that this has been twisted to this point. But then anything in this vein from the National Review is not really surprising.
Not sure why a D-list actor caused so much attention to begin with, from the initial reports of the attack which were suspect from the start. From the media, to these boards, I mean there are hundreds of pages just here alone on this topic. I still don't get it, most had never heard of him or the show till this happened but some how he is grouped and represents all lefties/AA/all of the LGBT community...and because of this hoax.... racism apparently doesn't actually exist .
