Nope. It's just being pragmatic.

Remember, Pelosi knows how to count votes and while she could likely get enough House votes for impeachment, she figures that there wouldn't be enough votes in the Senate to vote for removal.

So just making the symbolic gesture of voting for impeachment, without the practical result of removal from office, is a waste of time and political capital. Better to use that to do other actions.

Once again, Pelosi owns the bad orange man. Man, she knows exactly how to kick him in the balls and do it with a smile. Poor Donald is so outclassed here.

Exactly. She knows there's no way impeachment--at least at this point--will result in a conviction in the Senate, so why waste the time? They have plenty to do thwarting the GOP from cutting senior entitlements and investigating this most corrupt administration. Leave Trump where he is, causing damaged to the GOP on a daily basis, and then bring it in 2020.

Pelosi knows politics and how to play the long game. Something Trump has no clue how to do.

And I'll bet Trump is still feeling it.

You keep assuming I’m for the left but whatever. Never said he was outright stupid either. He’s smart enough to have good lawyers, but then again most rich people are. He was playing outside of his league though and he is ignorant of the truth.

Adam Schiff has been claiming for 2 years that there's clear proof of the Trump team colluding with Russia to influence the 2016 election.

If what Schiff (and other Dems) claims is true, then they would have no choice but to push for impeachment. They can't just let Trump & the Russians fix the election & then allow Russia to run our country. That's something they absolutely could not do.

So...either the D's are in complete dereliction of duty, or Schiff's been lying this whole time.

Smart money's on Schiff lying the entire time.
