i don’t have a problem with this. we’re already producing record amounts of oil without having to disturb a fragile area like this one.
leave it in the ground and congress can reverse it later if we really need it.

President Donald Trump exceeded his authority when he reversed bans on offshore drilling in vast parts of the Arctic Ocean and dozens of canyons in the Atlantic Ocean, a U.S. judge said in a ruling that restored the Obama-era restrictions.
Judge Sharon Gleason in a decision late Friday threw out Trump's executive order that overturned the bans that comprised a key part of Obama's environmental legacy.
Obama decides to ban drilling in the Artic. Trump reverses the order but an Obama appointed judge says Trump can't disturb the Obama legacy.
If a president roles back a predecessors designation he should have a reason, pretty rare that this happens but under Trump its a regular occurrence. Trump has lost around 40 environmental cases but that doesn't stop him from trying. I wonder if this will impact his roll back at Bears Ears in Utah.
The drilling companies and Trump will appeal and what will be the basis for the appeal, we wanted more oil,
Obama did all he could to eliminate capitalism......it's not about the environment but shutting down the money......DEMS don't give a rip about environment.....

This is all about the environment, what was the reason for the drilling emergency did we have a gas shortage.
