Not even remotely true. In our democracy, the final authority is the voters. Of course, the voters can be compromised, by gerrymandering, voter suppression, and allowing foreign aggressors to spread false information.
Only in a dictatorship, is the head of state the final authority.

No the man is not King and if you fail the security clearance - you are out ! Why should it not be the same for all ? You sign an agreement when you work for the govt or any other co that requires scrutiny. They fail. They are Out ! Period! Trumpettes and no more thumb of rule? Just do what’s convenient for the potus. ??
This should not surprise anyone. Demented Donald Trump has attacked with vengeance anyone who has said anything negative about him. Trump uses the power of the US, CIA, FBI, Homeland security to make life miserable for those who exercised their right to free speech in mentioning Trump. Trump has had people who depend on travel put on the no-fly list for no other reason that they used Trump's name in a comedy skit.
I can't say with certainty but it seems to me that this is a far overreach of presidential power. Adam Sciff is another Trump victim. That is, if America allows him to do so.

I predict Schiff will divulge something classified and Trump will pull his clearance. At that point Schiff will have to resign.
