Not paranoid at all. Just suggesting what this person may have experienced which now has an impact on how she interacts.
That is possible and also the fact that we have so many illegal alien Spanish speakers in our country illegally it may have set her off. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of them in San Jose. Calif. alone has the most illegal aliens of any state. They are merely possible explanations for her behavior not justifications but the liberals in here feel the need to play the race card anyway. So typical of them.
What's hypocritical to me is a poster saying that our borders are merely a line in the sand and yet they call this woman a kook? LOL!

This isn't an illegal alien thread even though you do your best to turn everything you post into immigration. The topic is about someone speaking another language other than English out in public people have different reasons for it and basically it boils down to the fact that other people's private conversations are nobody's business. The stupid cashier had no business sticking her damn nose into two friends private conversation. Her demanding they speak in English just highlighted what a fool she is.
I am a libertarian that believes that free markets should not end at an imaginary line on a map. Getting angry when you hear Spanish is a pretty good indicator that someone is a racist. What other explanation can you offer?
Probably every one under the sun except that. Getting angry when you hear Spanish is a good indicator that you are an ANTI-racist who is upset with the government's racist anti-white immigration policies.
If they know how to speak English they why aren't they? Are you actually going to claim that the increase in Spanish usage is not connected to the millions of illegal alien Spanish speakers here? Go ahead and stick your head in the sand then. No, the Spanish language is not a part of our identifying culture. It's a minority language spoken here among many others.
Because it's a free country and it's none of your darned business what they speak to each other in a private conversation if it doesn't involve you. Go ahead and try that with me - I will kindly but firmly tell you to stuff it.
Use a lowly cashier with mental issues to become a social media star.
America 2019
It's actually a good thing. A lot of Americans don't know that these people exist and that people get treated like this. It's unfortunate, but awareness is a good start.
Or, she's angry because she has had experience first hand in the past of people talking trash about her in Spanish so she won't know that they are talking about her like that. We really don't know the full reason behind it yet, do we? I had that happen to me before. And I was lucky because a woman who is my friend and also Spanish speaking told me later on after they all had left what had been saying about me. I also had it happen to me with a group of people who were speaking Tagalog around me as well. Both occasions happened in my workplace. So we don't know yet, but perhaps this is what she had experienced in the past which now set her off. If you ever experience this type of thing, especially in the workplace, you won't forget it and it will trigger you if a similar situation arises.

I'm not that sensitive to others around me. They can say whatever they want about me. Although, I think we elevate ourselves thinking strangers think that much that they waste time and energy making fun of a stranger. That is on them, not you. Maybe you are disabled or disfigured in some way. If so, I'd suggest talking to a professional to help you be happy with yourself. Good luck.
