If he weighed a few hundred more pounds, he could be 1 of the biggest losers.

That's his problem. Every deal, according to him, has a winner and a loser.

Except that's not how a good negotiator works. Good negotiators, on each side, work to achieve a win-win situation, so each party walks away with something they want. You and I may be negotiating a price for your car that you are selling, and we negotiate, and we arrive at a fair price that we both agree upon. I get your car; you get my money. Win-win.

It seems to me that Mr. Trump doesn't see things that way. It seems to me that he feels he has to get the better part of any deal, to the detriment (and hopefully, humiliation) of the other side, which he is happy to gloat over. But in international relations, he is up against the best in other countries who have negotiated international deals many times before. These are people who won't settle for "I win, you lose"; they are experienced international negotiators who are looking for "win-win" scenarios. And who will not tolerate Mr. Trump's "I win, you lose" attitude.

It's pointed out that during that period when he lost a billion dollars, he's estimated to have lost more than any single individual in the whole country.

If being a billionaire, having many hot wives and concubines, having extremely successful, beautiful, and upstanding and loving children, being elected President of the USA by 63 MILLION people, the most powerful man on earth, is being a loser - I'M IN!

Do you envy him so much that because he is the definition of winning that you must call him a loser?

wow

Yup. He lost $100 million a year for 10 years. That has to be a loss record!

The loss of $100 million dollars is enough to drive a large company to bankruptcy in one year! How he managed to lose that much for a decade is historical.

Trump only says he's worth $3.5 billion now. With a record like his, why do you believe him? He's lying, of course. That's why he doesn't want his current taxes released and is fighting so hard to keep his losses secret.

Yeah, really. Most people have no clue about business, finance and economics. Too many Gender and Minority Studies majors.

It's funny to watch the lefties with TDS constantly vacillate back and forth between Trump as an individual and Trump's many businesses.

First you take business losses and attribute the amount lost to other INDIVIDUALS...not businesses. Apples and oranges.

Second you say Trump has 6 bankruptcies, when what you mean is of his over 400 businesses he filed BK on six. That's a stellar record considering on average 3 out of 5 businesses fail in the first 5 years.

If you compare Trumps BUSINESS loses to other businesses, his pall in comparison!

Now, let's take a look at Obama's losses for our economy over just 8 years...
Or Hillary's losses...She lost 1.4 BILLION with her failed campaign.

I am too! But I'm not part of that demographic. I did very well under Obama as well. Not so much under W.
