I think Donna Brazile was a bit presumptuous in assigning that label to Buttigieg, but a Mayor Pete does present himself as a person of faith, and I have no reason to doubt him. It’s a nice change of pace to see someone other than an evangelical fundamentalist talk openly about his relationship with God and in a way that is not overtly dismissive or critical of non-believers. When I listen to Buttigieg speak about his faith, I hear the same welcome I heard when I decided to darken the door of my local Episcopal church after many years away. He connects with people in a genuine way. I like Mayor Pete. I like him a lot. He has a spark that other candidates are missing and a profound decency about him. Whether or not that’s enough to get him elected, I really don’t know, but it’s quite a contrast from what we’ve had skulking around Washington for the past two years.

PLEASE let this dolt win the primary so we can kick his heretical arse!!!!
Be careful...yeah I think he's right that God created him gay....and he's also smart and reasonable...I think as a Conservative that he's a threat....just don't think he's ready to beat Trump.

He's not a man of God, but neither are the evangelicals you likely champion.
