But if we follow your leftist logic, who should care if manafort worked for trump, because what manafort was sent to prison over had nothing to do with trump....yet he worked for trump....and the left is in glee over that and continues to run with it....

Manafort, and Manafort only, is the only convicted of a crime.
Craig is being indicted for his association with Manafort, not Obama. If his association with Obama is a part of his criminal behavior with Manafort then Obama is meaningful here.
Again, not getting the "glee" over this guy with regard to Obama unless you've got some intel that Obama used him for nefarious activities. Or if you all are trying to be cute and point out that Obama's appointees weren't choir boys.
I find it supremely amusing how hard the right is working to connect this guy to President Obama, while at the same time working equally hard to downplay the fact that he also worked with Trump's Campaign Manager, even though it's the latter association and not the former that he is in trouble for now. Uh...have you seen the posts all throughout this forum? It's very evident that many who call themselves "the left" do not think the way you do. To them, it IS a game. It is NOT about "right vs wrong" unless, and only if, it's "the right" that is wrong. Anything beyond that, they refuse to acknowledge that anyone in their party does anything wrong.
Just as there are moderate Republicans and far right Republicans, the Dem party also has two factions: Moderate Dems and the rabid, insane lunatics who are taking over the Dem party. It is the latter who has the loudest voice (due to their incessant and non stop whining), and who is making the Dem party look like idiots by acting like this is a game.
