An employee at a Shell gas station on Bernal Road in San Jose was fired after being filmed allegedly confronting a woman for speaking Spanish inside the store.
On March 28, Facebook user Grecya Moran shared videos of a confrontation with a female employee, and said the employee told her to stop speaking Spanish with one of the other cashiers.
At these low wage jobs, hard to get good help especially in a place like San Jose...but you have to fire people like that who are bad for your business.
Well there is a a bit of ignorance on display. She should lose her job going after a customer like that just as that bozo that berated the old guy at the coffee shop the other day.
What is wrong with people that they feel the need to push their ignorance on others?
One would think that the lady would be used to people speaking Spanish living in San Jose.

I see this in Texas all the time. Common sense suggests that you should probably not live in an area that is heavily populated with Spanish speaking people if you don't want to hear Spanish.

The angry white woman probably has a lower education and this low paying job is the only one she is qualified. She sees people speaking Spanish doing better than her and lashes out. We don't know her story but I would guess that it has something to do with the bitterness and, possibly, hatred. Honestly, not sure how she affords rent in SJ. She may be commuting from 2 hours away. Anyway, she needs to keep her head down and do her job. Well, at the next job she can possibly find. So sad.

No one has that choice.
