I'm not talking about taxes. I'm talking about how cheap he is with his own money while advocating for helping the poor.

OPM.
Is that his argument? Or is that yours?

His campaign is running on "Not me. Us".

Interestingly I noted during the last campaign that it wasn't about Bernie, even though I supported Bernie. It was about the ideas he was promoting.

He could give every penny he makes away and it would make no difference.

He is willing to pay for the programs he supports. Unlike Trump.

Looks like it was just 1%, not 3.4%

Bernie wants socialism just as long as he gets his first. He's a hypocrite.

Is that why he advocates for higher taxes on himself? Because he is cheap with his money?

Where exactly has he advocated for charity as a solution to our problems? He believes in a publicly funded safety net with himself paying more in taxes. Not charity.

THIS is the Democrats' front-runner?
I certainly hope so. I seriously doubt that he is electable. The Democrats are aware of it and when push comes to shove they will do everything in their power to deny him the nomination as they already did. That unto itself will cost the Democrats votes. Those votes are certainly not going to come from Republicans that's for sure. But don't let the Democrat's fool you, no matter who they nominate they all march to the same tune as the little communist curmudgeon from Vermont. Oh sure they'll try and distance themselves from him but if elected they'll go right along with the same policies that he espouses.

You just wait and see what happens when some 155 million people or so are forced to give up their *employer based healthcare coverage to government run healthcare. When they're all lumped together with the illegal invaders and those who never put a dime into the system such as single mothers with a dozen children. Whoopee, we'll all be on medicaid and become wards of the state. This doesn't even take into consideration the hit that the middle class will take when they are forced to pay for it. There will be no way around that as there are not enough rich people to tax into oblivion to fund it.

The little communist curmudgeon doesn't care about people. All he cares about is power, control and his own personal aggrandizement. Indeed he is condescending, arrogant and a hypocrite of the worst order. What amazes me is that there are people in this country that support him? Just the sound of his voice makes me want to puke. Whenever he speaks I either change the channel or turn off the volume. How in the world did this country come to this? I'm sure that both you and I know the answer to that.

Not sure what you're implying. If anything, he should be grateful for his success and be willing to part with a decent amount of money to help those less fortunate.

He is. He voted against the tax cuts.

Which policies he proposes are communist? The policies that every one of our closest allies already have implemented a long time ago? Are they communist? How is Medicare communist? The middle class is currently getting destroyed by the highest health care costs in the world by a huge margin. And you're afraid that if we expand Medicare, and join the rest of the world in guaranteeing lower cost health care without the middle men that rips off the American people, we will be communist?
