A school district in Northern California is considering the removal of a mural depicting George Washington from George Washington High School over concerns that it “traumatizes students and community members.”
The panels of the mural had been painted in 1936 by Russian-American painter Victor Arnautoff, as part of a Works Progress Administration project during the New Deal. Now, a working group made up of several members has concluded that the artwork might be upsetting to Native Americans and African Americans and should be removed from the walls of the school and archived.
Well then, the pro-slavery Democratic Party should trigger these snowflakes as well. At least George Washington is dead, the Democratic Party is still around. Democrat politicians who supported racial discrimination and segregation, are also still around.

I find it interesting how far people are letting this stuff go without any real resistance. These SJW authoritarians are literally trying to control speech, thoughts, and even the narrative on history now. When are people going to stand up and say enough is enough?
The best way to fight these people is to fight ridiculous with being even more ridiculous. Say everything is racist. Say everything is sexist. Call everything discrimination. Say you are offended by everything. Threaten workplace discrimination claims if you have an SJW boss or supervisor. Do it all with a straight face. I'm talking about spam level stuff. This especially applies if you are a white male.
Who comes up with these ridiculous ideas? Who gets so offended by our Founding Fathers that they feel the need to remove their images to protect the psyche of others that might be negatively affected to a state of oppressive depression without even realizing it??
What will they replace the mural with? One of Obama? Or since this is California how about a mural of Pancho Villa on a charging horse trampling over the American Flag?

Sounds like you are suggesting a "if you can't beat them, join them" alternative to common sense and critical thinking. Your description is exactly what is going on and despite the absurdity, the young, idealists (lacking in both, as well as experience), embrace this silliness like so many sheep.

The insanity is continuing to increase on the current course. History is being revised and literally torn down in many cases. Simple words having nothing to do with race are being called racist and are being forced to be banned/changed, etc. So the current course is not working and there seems to be no meaningful resistance. Many people are opposed to the current course but they aren't doing anything about it. Just letting the authoritarians continue to stampede and trample on everything.
So what I am saying is to delegitimize this current SJW movement by making everything so absurd that people just get tired of hearing about various isms and ists. People will get so tired of hearing about it that it will undermine what the SJW types are trying to do. This is especially important to do if you are white (and even more important if you are a white male). Spam everything about race, gender, discrimination, etc.
So Conservatives are once again getting their panties in a bunch over some painting they have never seen nor would ever see and will likely forget within a week. Such snowflakes.
