Oh the irony. The time we're most often reminded of the almighty creator is when we're buying something. Americans don't really trust in God, but money.
"The time we're most often reminded of the almighty creator is when we're buying something"
WRONG! The time we're most often reminded of the almighty creator is when we're diving int a foxhole when being shot at. MANY a Vet found GOD on the "battlefield"!
The conservatives like to pretend its a real thing, and they can call him up and order him to do their bidding any time they want to. The Liberals, for the most part, have moved past believing in fairy tales.
If a god is mentioned on the money, the one who accumulates the most money is the one favored by the god, and wins the trophy for Most Devout.
"The conservatives like to pretend its a real thing,"
OK genius, NOW is the time to back up your claims. PROVE there is NO GOD!
I consider myself more conservative than liberal (except on social issues), so I object and take umbrage against the hoards of those that anally call themselves conservative, when really they are just a bunch of inbred or inbred wannabes, bigoted, fundie low lifes.
They and the current GOP forgot all about balancing budgets and deficits, and think that their hooting and bellowing about controversial social issues somehow makes them true conservatives. They probably think the term neoliberal is a put down.
"when really they are just a bunch of inbred or inbred wannabes, bigoted, fundie low lifes."
Biggest case of "pot, meet kettle", I've read in a long time!
