The country has shipped out so many jobs for so long that small business suffered.

Under Trump the cost of doing business is cheaper, and the work has been rolling on optimism ever since the election.

But......the giant conglomerates will make more than ever in the stock market and we will hear about disparity as well as CEO incomes.

Can't defend it. Its way out of synch. We talked about cost of living and public sector income verses private. You would need the public sector to not take a raise for a decade and small business/ entrepreneurship to over take big corporations.

Like making it here being cheaper than shipping a product around the world.

If that's not possible do we have a chance? Will it take a 12yr GOOD Republican president run like Reagan or too far gone?

1) overhaul the health care system. Stop paying twice as much for the same service. My insurance premium as a healthy young male could be my monthly payment on a really nice car.

2) overhaul public education.

3) undo the recent ridiculous tax changes. Give taxes breaks to small business, stop bending over for corporate America.

American workforce just needs to be retooled for the future.

Seemingly it’s gaslighting and self-delusion.

Reagan gave full amnesty to millions of Mexicans, set up the S&L Crisis and was known for the speeding up of outsourcing, corporate mergers and firings, union busting and more......

In other words - Reagan in a sense caused Trumpism. The GOP way is to say government is bad, yet spend all their time lying and cheating to control it - and THEN, make it REALLY BAD by stealing all the money for themselves and their .01% friends.

They tell the truth about Government being bad....BECAUSE THEY INTENTIONALLY MADE IT SO!

There is only one way to make American good.....(not Great)...and that is for us all to be People Centered. Not government centered. Not hugging our guns or bragging about the newest BS on Infowars.

But being good people. And making sure that our governments are in the business of making things better for all of us.

The odds of that happening anytime soon are very low because, again by intention, too many Americans have been kept ignorant of the real world. They are sold slogans and nicknames and one or two word sayings.....or even 4 letter sayings if they are really less literate....you know

MAGA

Reagan was a disaster for the economy. He marks the tipping point where we switched over to an increasingly growing government addicted to running deficits that tripled our debt in his term. No fiscal conservative should look at him favorably.

Our standard of living has risen with the availability of cheap products. Attempting to bring that manufacturing back here, means much higher prices, and effectively a reduction in our standard of living. There's no putting the global trade genie back in the bottle at this late stage. Under capitalism the producers will naturally seek the cheapest way to produce their product effectively. Trying to get the government involved with tariffs and the like is certainly not capitalist. It's ironically now the Republicans clamoring for a big government with a heavy hand in the economy. Something that pre-Trump Republicans would have called socialist.

Voting Trump out next year would do wonders for making America great again.
