What laws has Trump broken? Has he circumvented Congress? What did the courts say? Do you have any evidence or facts to support your claim?

The US as a government is an infant compared to other nations, whose history spans centuries and millennia. It will happen to the US, hopefully hundreds of years from now.

We did. The Progressives (progressing towards communism) have turned our country into a shadow of the free nation that the founders set up. First our leaders dragged us into WWI, which was not our business, and that resulted in the imposition of income tax on the working class. Big nail in the coffin. Then we are supposedly attacked in Pearl Harbor, while most of our fleet is conveniently out on maneuvers, because Washington just had to get us into WWII. That meant payroll withholding of income tax, which resulted in the working class sending a fortune in taxes to the farthest level of government (which gives us nothing but an Empire Military Complex). A whole line of nails in the coffin there.

Then 1965, when Ted Kennedy and his co-conspirators throw our our strict, protective immigration laws out the window and replace them with a "Welcome" sign at the Mexican border. Open the floodgates for tens of millions of poor, uneducated Hispanics that the working class must pay for & educate (and generations later, we're still wondering why they haven't assimilated & become prosperous). Read Toad Kennedy's speeches where he promises these newcomers won't flood our cities and change the face of America. Guess what, they did.

Now the Democrat debates treat us to a vision of our sad future: all hands raised to give free health care to ILLEGAL immigrants. I guess the legal immigrants, and all the Americans who can't afford the insane cost of health insurance, will just have to do without.

We see the same thing in ths USA now.

Subtle.

Press is awful, let's curtail them.

Courts are following the Constitution. Let's stack them with right wing nut jobs.

Term limits don't happen in autocracies. Let me be president for life. After all, Xi will be so.

Taxes are for the middle class. let me pile on with a huge tax cut for my buddies and stick the poor folks with the bill--but tell them it will be okay because, this time, trickle down will work (even though it has never worked before).

Anyone who encourages programs for the middle class: Job protection, health care, fair wages, equal rights, etc. is a socialist/commy bastard (even though most people have no idea what either term means).

Government is for the wealthy to direct federal monies into their own pockets. The middle class is too stupid to know better or stop it.

White people rule America. Muslims, Hispanics, anyone of brown color is to be derided.

Women are to be used, abused and discarded.

The environment is to be used to enrich the ruling class. Screw it that people can't breath, and their houses are on fire or under water.

These things are happening every day, sanctioned by the current autocrat, and much of America is very pleased because, just like every dictator, he told them it is fine.

Of course, when they come for you, it will be a different story, won't it? But by then it might be too late for anyone to care that your family is separated, your spouse is shot as a traitor, and your property is confiscated in the name of America.

The Trumpists on this thread are proclaiming that we could never have a dictator in this country and all the while, they're supporting one who would become just that and trash the Constitution, if he could. There's some very sick humor in that.

US Military do not swear an oath to the president nor political party. We swear to support and defend the Us Constitution and the country from enemies both foreign and domestic. Our military also has rules allowing us to disobey an unlawful order. A population educated in the Us Constitution and American laws and history knows the limits of the federal government. The Constitution was designed to set limits upon the Federal Government. Unfortunately many of today’s public school and university students aren’t taught these things or what they’re taught is a distortion based upon the personal beliefs of the educator. As more and more of the population become ignorant of the laws, Constitution, and American history then we move closer and closer to the day when the people welcome a dictator.

Care to list examples of what you’re claiming (Trump breaking laws and wanting to get rid of the Constitution I he could). Otherwise what you say is pure hyperbole with no factual information to back up your belief. The closest US President we ever had to a dictator was Lincoln. He issued orders that were carried out in violation of theUS Constitution and US Laws with the excuse of the war. He imprisoned journalist and legislatures for things they said against him and the war.

Trump so far hasn’t made any executive decisions that in any way comes close to what you’re alleging. Other recent past presidents of both parties have done some of the same things you and others here are accusing Trump of doing in violation of the constitution and Us Laws. Try learning history, law, and the constitution before spouting off such hyperbole. No president is a saint but many have sinned many times over, regardless of political party, and some are considered some of the greatest presidents we’ve had.

Below is the oath US Military enlisted take

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

Now where it says “obey the orders of the President”, there are exceptions we’re taught about as early as boot camp and reminded of through our enlistment. Read the following link for some examples of unlawful orders.
