I can't find a single post where a Trumpie comes right out and condemns this guy without deflecting to "the guy in New York" or "anti-fa" or making excuses for the guy (he was being chased or somebody hit his car with a bat, etc.). You'd think this would be an easy one, a no-brainer.
Some of those individuals really don't condemn what Fields did. They just don't want to admit it.

I haven't followed this trial and don't know the facts so have no opinion on the sentence for the young man.
a young woman is dead and a young man is in prison for life. two lives destroyed is very sad.
Wrong. It’s sad that the woman was murdered. I couldn’t care less that the murderer will spend the rest of his loser life in prison, it’s his just reward.

I was addressing the matter of "fine people", not Antifa. Antifa is not the thread's topic - the Charlottesville Car Rammer" and even the alt-right in general IS. Now how about addressing the alt-right and Fields instead of going off on tangents like "Antifa did such and such".
I know some fine people who oppose removing confederate statues. For all I know there were some fine people mixed in with the racist scumbags.

No one is beyond rejecting their past crimes and rehabilitation. A liberal belief I know.

Except one thing. We know that Confederates do not deserve to be honored. We remember them, but we should never pay accolades to them. Removing those statues is a recognition of that.
