Sen. Booker, who of course is running for US president, was asked whether he would consider meeting with notorious anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan. He replied:

Quote:
“I live in Newark so we have famous Mosque 25, we have Nation of Islam there,”...I’m not one of these people that says I wouldn’t sit down with anybody to hear what they have to say. But I live on a neighborhood where I’m getting guys on the streets offering and selling his works. I am very familiar with Minister Louis Farrakhan and his beliefs and his values.”
The hypocrisy meter was pinned on max as Booker recently lambasted Joe Biden for having acknowledged working with segregationist Sen. James Eastland early in Biden's career.

I suppose we should not be surprised at this since earlier this year Dem. hopefuls flocked to meet with Rev. Al Sharpton, who once said:

Quote:
If Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house.
At least 14 of the 24 Dem presidential candidates attended Sharpton's NAN conference in April, 2019. Cory Booker not only attended, he delivered a speech to the conference.

This burgeoning anti-Semitism in the Democratic party is a big reason why I no longer consider myself a Democrat.

I don't see much likelihood of anyone going to war with Louis Farrakhan. A US Senator (and presidential candidate) has very limited time. If nothing else, the time would be better spent meeting with others.

Since when is it okay for a politician to interact with a filthy bigot like Farrakan? As if the Nation of Racists are going to change their bigoted philosophy.

Sadly, that stance will only gain him votes on the left. Jews, wake up! The Democrat Party is NOT your friend!

I have to laugh at the hypocrisy in this thread given the sheer amount of anti-semitism directed towards one of the top Democratic candidates on this forum every day.
