Green on the outside, red on the inside. What surprise!

Yup. Her chief of staff said that. Then there's this part:
Quote:
Chakrabarti had an unexpected disclosure. “The interesting thing about the Green New Deal,” he said, “is it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all.” Ricketts greeted this startling notion with an attentive poker face. “Do you guys think of it as a climate thing?” Chakrabarti continued. “Because we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing.”

How do you get people to support something that they never would otherwise? Wrap it in a different package and tell them it's all about "saving" the planet.

One of the UN big wigs said the same thing. That it wasn't about the environment, it's about killing capitalism.

Its pure socialism. The sad part is that we will be going to socialism eventually. Its not if its when. The democrats want low skilled low paying labor illegal immigrants to come in. Give them citizenship and then get them voting. America be dammed!

Even better....there's no reference to "citizen" in her resolution. The references are to "all people of the United States".

So all those guarantees of free stuff is for "all people of the United States", not just citizens.

Steering a fossil fuel based economy to a clean energy based economy could be a boon to the national GDP. If it turns out to also be a benefit to the livability of my home, that is good.

So anyone who sides with global warming is automatically a communist? That is one weird association of two completely unrelated groups.

You do realize that they're fighting for you and yours as well too, right?

So, what? Wait - are you saying that the KGOP wants to go green? Who knew? Maybe you folks can ask Putin and the good people down at the Internet Research Agency to help you out. They got you your commie loving president* and I'm sure they have any number of helpful ideas about all sorts of things, climate change would be the least of it.

And as an aside, I must say that you really need to keep up with the times. Any aspirations that the Democrats may have had to turn commie have been usurped by your own twisted party and your own twisted leader. You folks absolutely adore communist leaders and countries. As a Democrat, I would never even dream of trying to pull off what you folks have managed to do. Putin's Mitch won't even let a single election security law on the floor of the Senate, never mind actually passing one to help ensure our election process is safe from outside interference.

Nice job, you green republican traitors.
