The public safety record in Cheyenne sure is better 2 homicides and 34 robberies a year as opposed to 267 homicides and 2,639 robberies in Detroit and 342 homicides and 5,879 robberies in Baltimore.

A household making $100,000 a year would have 19% of their income going to state and local taxes in Bridgeport, 15% in Newark, 14% Detroit and 13% in Baltimore

In Anchorage and Cheyenne they pay a rounded figure of 4% state and local income taxes.
