Not quite the same as a video saying, 'Mom and I are spending quality time at the range today!'
This is true, however once the context was known, the school should have immediately stopped its investigation of the student and allowed him back in school.
Also, this was in Colorado. Seems like there was a school shooting there in the 90s. Oh, and that movie theater shooting not to mention Sol Pais. Maybe they have a reason to err of the side of caution
So you are in favor of limiting first amendment because how he said it?
If a student posts photos of guns with a caption stating they're going to be used - you don't think a school should tell the kid to stay home while they investigate what it's about?

A snowflake took offense, and made an anonymous call to a "tip line," resulting in police showing up at the family's home. The police determined that there was no illegality, but the family subsequently received a call from the school that the teen was suspended, regardless of police findings, and that a "threat assessment" protocol would be put in place.
