You can find an outlier to back up just about anything.
Doesn't change the validity of the statement.
Some people, including my wife just don't like the recoil of a shotgun.
And if they don't like shooting it, then they won't practice with it.
And we don't need untrained people using guns that they can't control.
This doesn't prove anything other than "it's possible" as an outlier.
I hope a highly competitive shooter who constantly trains can handle recoil better than the average man or woman.
She trains more than 95% of the population so this result is not a surprise. It's not practical for most random women to devote that much time effort and money to practice shotgun techniques when there is a better choice (AR15) Readily available where they can become more profcient.
How much training is required to get behind a door, aim shotgun at door, pull trigger if someone breaks it down?
Fire it once before? Twice?
Reminds me of the fam (familiarization) fire "incident" where they had been given that but when they experienced jams, they were still going to the instructor to have it cleared.

Yup. I grew up in the 50's and people kept pistols and shotguns in the house for security. People hunted with bolt action or low capacity magazine long rifles. Now the gun crowd wants military grade weaponry more as a political statement than anything else.

Yes fudd logic. Because I don't need it, you don't need it.
Back in the 50s people flew in DC3's. Should we continue to fly in them or should we upgrade to jet technology and GPS?

Their other favorite is "Weapon of War", or "Weapon of Mass Destruction".
