I think it's time that we come to the realization that Trump's stupidity is meant to cause mayhem. If you can't figure out why someone is doing what they do, looking at the outcome doesn't hurt. Trump's idiotic comments are causing alot of dissension. That's likely what Trump wants. President Trump isn't the brightest crayon in the box. However, this "they make me look orange" comment is beyond stupid. Everyone knows light bulbs don't make a person look orange. Trump likely knows better. Trump isn't so much crazy or stupid, but a complete jerk. He makes stupid comments for the sake of it. He loves it when there is dissension. It distracts from the fact that he's not doing that great of a job. He can't own up to it, so he tries to spread confusion.
You have to give Trump credit for having the balls to say something so stupid, then again he knew his base would somehow defend his outrage against the evil lightbulbs.
