My opinion is that there is far more to this story than the two are reporting, because airplanes just don't cancel flights on a whim or out of some irrational fears.
Two Muslim men have claimed their American Airlines flight was cancelled because flight crew "didn't feel comfortable" when they waved hello to each other.
Abderraoof Alkhawaldeh and Issam Abdallah say they were harassed by law-enforcement after boarding a flight from Birmingham, Alabama, to Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, on September 14th.
If they were thoroughly screened by security, what difference does it make if someones feels "uncomfortable" around them? They pose no discernible threat because they should have no weapons and the cockpit is locked.

Who doesn't feel uncomfortable when a person that is obviously muslim comes down the aisle of the plane you are on?
We are told to never forget 9/11 and part of that is being aware of our surroundings. The enemy that day were young muslim men. We should all be leery of them. it's not racist but it is common sense.
They succeeded in their terrorism to change our lives and the way we view flying and planes forever. I know when I look up and see a plane banking at an unusual angle I think about 9/11.
If people are uncomfortable flying with muslims than so be it. Sorry. It is human nature.

If someone feels uncomfortable, it is smart to not go on the flight. Your life isn’t worth risking over having to wait a few hours for the next plane. If the flight crew was uncomfortable, then who is going to fly the plane? You are going to force them to fly when they feel the two men acted suspiciously? It doesn’t even matter whether you think they were acting suspiciously or not. It only matters what the people on the plane think, because they are the ones that have to deal with the potential consequences, not you.
There must have been a serious reason not to feel comfortable. Most likely more to surface soon. And Cair will cry out. The squad will come out to cry out even more and then we will have the full story which overall has been backed by truth.
Too many cameras to just cancel an entire flight over nothing.
I wouldn’t mind getting my flight cancelled if the crew suspects something to feel unsafe. Better safe than sorry.

There was a ticket agent who felt uncomfortable on 9/11/01. And he let political correctness override his instinct.
Better safe than sorry.
