Donald Trump lacks the aptitude to testify in person. Will he be allowed to testify on paper?

Quote:
President Donald J. Trump will have to sit for a deposition in a New York lawsuit against him and the Trump Organization over a violent encounter in 2015 between Mexican protesters and his employees, a state Supreme Court judge ruled on Friday.

Trump's lawyers had sought to quash a subpoena for the president's testimony related to an incident that occurred in the weeks following the launch of his presidential campaign. Protesters had gathered outside Trump Tower in Manhattan over multiple weekends after then-candidate Trump descended the golden escalators in June of 2015 to begin his campaign.

Yeah No doubt.

Was Trump even in NYC when the incident happened? Did he leave a memo ordering his people to beat up on any protesters that stormed his building terrorizing his employees and people that live and work in that building?

maybe Trump should counter sue?

It is a videotaped deposition.....why doesn't Trump just do it and be done.

I don't understand why folks are so insulted he would be asked to testify.

And the article suggests Trump was there in the building.

This should be interesting, I doubt Trump can refrain from lying under oath.

Weren't there plenty of people who witnessed it? If so there is no need to bother Trump. Sounds like posturing to have the President testify.

Because deep down he’s guilty plain and simple. Trump will hang himself if he does which is why he lets his lawyers do all the work.

They know he's a liar and likely to perjure himself. He can't help himself his pathology is probably that rigid.
