Your making the case that we need to clean the swamp. Right now we are still adding to it with Trump, and I seen no change with the upcoming election. I do wonder what the endgame is for Trump and republicans with all this. There will be another Democrat President at some point, and they will have greatly expanded powers over what Obama held.
At this point I do not believe a President can be stopped from doing with ever they want. By the time congress reacts to anything the Deed is done and the American people only find out through a media that we call FAKE daily. No one trust anything negative and only want to hear positive news about their gang member (Reds vs blues). The American people no longer have a mechanism to stop a irrational President in either party because of how divided we are.
Its to the point that we can no longer expect American Elections to be controlled by Americans only.

TBH, with any other politician I'd assume he's lying but Creepy Joe is so dementia addled, it's quite possible he discussed it with his son and forgot about it the next day.
