The original Autism Cares Act was signed into law in 2014. Thanks, Obama!

But this was passed before and there was still a huge lack of support services. When do we get the grants and is it only for certain levels?

Now he's trying to win me over? Well it won't work until I see concrete results. I'm just wondering how a proven to be ableist man is all of a sudden passing a policy like this.

Is the world going to end? He's been trying to destroy Obama's legacy.

Actually, it was originally signed into law back in 2006 as the Combating Autism Act, before Obama got a hold of it in 2011, and then 2014 changed the name.

And even more interesting, the whole thing was brought forward and pushed through by a Democrat and Republican congressmen from NJ in a joint bipartisan act to help people. I wish we would see more of this. It's obvious Obama and Trump both agree on something good for a change.
