That was the point.

I like what Trump has done and is doing, with a hiccup on the Tomahawk hit on Syria, after a false flag, but my suspicion is that was all done to hide US lobbing rockets to help Assad get the ISIS out. We didn't really hit an airfield.

With that said, I want the Democrats to vote to impeach him too! Oh, I so want it. Can you imagine who would be subpoenaed by republicans!

Look it up yourself, if you don't believe me.
When Trump takes it to the Supreme for doing his job to execute the laws of the USA and the Dims want to impeach him because they were the ones committing corruption and don't wan it uncovered, the SC shoot down this attempt as not meeting any standard of High Crime or even low crime....in any event, the Dims are pissing in the wind again.

It means nothing, just that Democrats don't like him....So nothing has changed since November 2016.
I don't think you would have found 58% wanting to impeach Obama or GWB, so don't let's pretend it's normal.

There is no standard for what the phrase 'high crimes and misdemeanors' means.

The founders left it up to Congress to decide what it is in any given situation. On purpose.

When it comes to impeachment, Congress pretty much occupies the field. They are constrained by voter opinion, but not much else.

If Trump refuses to submit documents which Congress requests, or tries to block witnesses from testifying, that is Contempt of Congress, and grounds for Impeachment in and of itself. High Crimes and Misdemeanors just about becomes moot at that point.

We have 3 bodies of government and the SC will decide whether or not the Dems impeaching Trump for doing his job to expose Americans violating our anti-corruption laws (all swamp creatures) can meet any standard of high

What most people are wondering about is why the left won't bring formal proceedings. They can't impeach a president according to their own rules, with anonymous blowhards and fantasy land lies and misinterpretations, and they know it. Only the very foolish incandescent ignoramuses think they can.

I don't think the left's shenanigans are about impeachment at all. It's just another smear campaign that they hope will last into 2020 and give them some impetus going into the election. They haven't got a candidate worth a flea on a dog's ass and a seek-and-destroy mission is all they have.
