What’s sad is that the Dems are trying to reward unemployed people by excusing taxes on their unemployment benefits, while punishing those who went out and got a part-time gig to earn some money.
I seriously don't understand why we're paying taxes right now. Especially since last year. Imagine if we could put our political biases aside and just decide we're not paying taxes this year? Instead, I see too many people too eager to pay their taxes.

I read or heard somewhere that if just a quarter of those who presently pay taxes, stopped, the fed govt would collapse. Dont know if its true, but it gives me hope.
We should never worry about revenues and just keep spending.
It's more conservative to tax and spend then borrow and spend.
Our Trumpies seldom cry about spending but just try raising revenues to pay for that spending and they raise a ruckus.
What are you talking about? Tax revenue increased after the Trump tax cuts. Why? Tax cuts stimulate the economy.
Quote:
"It is widely believed, with plenty of evidence to support the hypothesis, that tax cuts spur economic growth. Over the past six decades, tax cut legislation has been implemented by elected officials of both political parties. The Kennedy tax cuts in 1964, Reagan’s tax cuts in 1981, the Clinton/Gingrich tax cuts in 1997, the Trump tax cuts in 2017, and more locally North Carolina’s tax cuts and reforms in 2013 all did what their advocates said the tax cuts would do: they increased economic growth rates and secondarily enhanced government revenues."
