They are seeing the results of their Raducal, Far Left, Democrat policies. Just like we said.

It's not just defunded police. What we're seeing is the "Floyd effect", much like the "Ferguson effect" in Ferguson after 2014 and the "Gray effect" in Baltimore after 2015. Except unlike the latter 2, the "Floyd effect" is not confined to a single city because riots in the name of Mr Floyd were permitted to happen everywhere. Now we are seeing the fruit of it. The defunded, or in some cases demoralized, police presence is certainly contributing to the "Floyd effect.

I intend to avoid any and every metro area liberal hellhole for the rest of my life. If by some chance I HAVE to go to one of these places I will have my CCW close to hand.

In the meantime I intend to enjoy watching these vile Anti-Americans eat their own.

In life, George Floyd was a career criminal and a drag on society.

In death, he has become a beacon to the criminal underclass.

When will the madness end?

Will America ever come to it's senses?

This brings us back to the question we started with: Did the City of Austin “defund” the police? In short, no, it did not “defund” the police, apart from a 5 percent budget cut. Not only that, if the council reverses itself on the cadet classes, the budget cut this year might actually be less than that, because cadet salaries and training amounted to about $7 million of the total $20 million cut.

This particular is long and very specific but you get the idea......

Aggravated Assault and Robbery units have not lost any resources as a result of the City of Austin's decision to reconfigure APD's budget.

"I will say that as far as the 2020 numbers, we saw a rise in violent crime in the very early months in 2020 before the reimaging and the defunding conversations came up.

Minneapolis wasn't defunded either -

If you're not going to use your police to keep the peace, arrest the lawbreakers, protect the law-abiding citizens etc., why bother to fully fund them?

Defund the police, and let them wither away.

Maybe you can get your city budget reduced just in time for the coming post-Chauvin-trial riots this summer. Then you can really reap the rewards of not having a funded, operational police force.
